Navarro County and the
City of Corsicana are teaming up to host the 28th
Annual Cleanup Day on Saturday, June 1st
at the Corsicana Regional Landfill at
Jester Road on East Highway 31.
Navarro County Commissioners Court,
City of Corsicana, Corsicana Regional Landfill and Republic service
contribute an annual investment of over $33,000 in the cleaning up of
his program seeks to provide an opportunity for the
proper disposal of solid waste in order to improve the environmental
quality and community pride in the City of Corsicana and Navarro
The program is open to all residents of Navarro County.
Approved items that you can dispose of include: Large appliances
(refrigerators, stoves, washers, etc), Furniture (couches, chairs,
tables, entertainment centers, mattresses, etc), Entertainment
equipment (televisions, stereos, speakers, etc), Agricultural
pesticide containers that have been triple rinsed and punctured,
daily household garbage and brush/limbs. Tires
will NOT be accepted on this day.
Tire collection day is September 6, 2019 at
the Navarro Expo Center.
All loads must
be trapped and firmly secured to trucks and trailers according to the
TCEQ regulations. Assistance will be available to unload your items.
Volunteers will be available to take items to the landfill on June
1st, for elderly and disabled residents in the Corsicana area. For
this assistance you must call 903-654-3075 by 5 pm on Thursday, May
30th. This is a change from previous years,
to dispose of unwanted trash, so please note that call-ins will not
be accepted Friday or Saturday. Donít miss
