The woman charged with stabbing a 49-year-old Corsicana man who passed away hours after the attack remains jailed on a $250,000 bond.

Police say Cedrick Lawrence told them he was stabbed Sunday night by 57-year-old Priscilla Dean Roberson at a home in the 2400 block of West Fourth Avenue. Lawrence was taken by air ambulance to a Dallas area hospital but died early Monday morning from his injuries.

Prior to Lawrence`s death, police obtained an arrest warrant for Roberson on an aggravated assault charge. She was taken into custody without incident later Monday morning and remains in the Navarro County Jail on a $250,000 bond. Corsicana Police Chief Robert Johnson said the Navarro County District Attorney could change that charge since the victim died.
